For our location in Richmond, VA we are looking for a

Mechanical Engineer

.

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a wide range of basic machines and devices. Your work will provide custom solutions for our applications, development, and retail teams, making you an integral part of our operations. The qualified candidate must be flexible and willing to learn a variety of CAD and PLM software packages and have hands-on experience with design assembly.

Your tasks

• 2D and 3D CAD design (Experience with NX and Autocad a plus, but be willing to learn if not experienced)
• Physical assembly and documentation of designs
• Use of PLM software packages Teamcenter + SAP to manage parts and perform BOM revisions and releases
• Collaboration with other hardware and software engineers on multiple projects
• Time and project management  through personal skills and software
• Company travel required when applicable
• Position is Richmond, VA-based and non-remote

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software and Windows Office
• Comfortable working with hand tools and small power tools
• Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
• Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels
• Problem-Solving – Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
