Job Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of plant
equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role involves troubleshooting
mechanical, electrical and performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on plant machinery
and equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize
downtime.
Repairs: Perform necessary repairs or coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status in
compliance with company policies.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working
environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to
operations.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
Emergency Response: Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies promptly to restore operations.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes
and equipment reliability.
 

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
Experience: 5 of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in an industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
Ability to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
Availability for overtime and on-call duties as needed
