Global Category Manager (m/f/d) Labels & Consumables

Your tasks

• Based in Balingen or 100% home office (remote) position

• Strategic purchasing activities for Bizerba Labels & Consumables GmbH in Bochum as well as foreign subsidiaries in Europe and North America

• Supervision of the product groups papers, films, adhesives, glassine liners, label stock, linerless silicone, printing inks and printing plates

• Analysis of national and international procurement markets to identify potential savings

• Responsible for supplier evaluation, selection and development

• Price and contract negotiations with suppliers

• Processing procurement transactions via SAP-SRM and SAP-MM

• Further development of long-term procurement strategies

Your profile

• Business administration or technical studies or appreticeship with further commercial training

• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally for the raw materials mentioned. Alternatively, interest in a lateral entry into strategic purchasing coming from a job in the printing or label industry

• Confident handling of Microsoft Office and SAP

• Intercultural competence

• Negotiation skills, assertiveness and confident appearance

• Good written and spoken English

• Willingness to travel internationally
