Retail Key Accounts Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Promote, maintain & increase sales of Bizerba’ s retail equipment, software & services in the region Leading the existing retail sales representatives and further development of the team to be a strong support to the company’s business

Responsible for the implementation and adaption of the global sales strategy for the retail sales business

Support of your team in all matters that promote the retail sales

Development of the business with our retail customers & channel partners by promoting, maintaining & increasing sales of Bizerba’s industry products

Development of new business models e.g. by execution of market research, identifying new potential customers and markets and by setting Bizerba’s product apart from competitors

Coordinate with all involved departments to match customer’s requirements and improve customer’s satisfaction

Understand the country’s top retailers needs and suggest solutions with our product line

Maintain and grow relationships with top retailers and channel partners, becoming point of contact & trusted advisor and build an in-depth understanding of customer needs

Ability to execute, manage regional and individual key customer strategies to meet & exceed sales targets

Meet quarterly and annual sales and activity targets within retail sales

Report on sales and forecast for the territory & segment to MD, Regional Head and VP Retail

Maintain up to date product knowledge to answer questions and provide solutions

Preparation and execution of market launches and product promotions

Build own sales pipeline and maintain CRM System
Your qualifications
- A proven track record of Retail Key Account Management to clearly articulate / demonstrate accomplishments of year over year revenue growth
- Possess intricate knowledge of the retail landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa, focus on Southern Africa and have deep insights into the main countries’ top retailers, their market and their customers
- Minimum 5+ experience with equipment and/or software sales in the retail industry
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to completion
- Ability to travel as required by role (up to 75% of the time)
- Strong working knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills as required by a professional business environment of Key Account management
- Customer Service & people skills
- Experience in SAP B1 software & CRM Programs
