Your tasks

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in coordination with all departments.
  • Develop financial models to assist in the forecasting of revenues, costs, and profitability.
  • Monitor budget adherence, analyze variances, and propose corrective actions.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure effective cost management and drive initiatives for cost savings and process optimization.
  • Conduct profitability analysis of products, services, or projects, and offer recommendations for margin improvement.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and bank relationships.
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks as well as to improve the company’s financial position.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial statements.
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations and be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
  • Streamline accounting and reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Excel.  SAP experience a plus.   
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels across the business.
  • Assertiveness and a motivating, appreciative and modern leadership style with a Hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to completion
  • Strong business thinking and a high degree of result orientation paired with a “never give up” attitude.
